I am not into fashion, but I have always enjoyed Bill Cunningham's On the Street montages in the Sunday NY Times. If you haven't seen them, here's one, and here's another. Today I watched the recent full-length documentary about him (see a snippet in the trailer above), and he is so inspiring--his creativity and energy and the way he lives his life--such a sweet and interesting man. I highly recommend that you see it if you get the opportunity.

  1. Hello Jen:
What a most interesting and clearly very talented person with a genuine interest in clothes which, of course, he appears to have a passion to document.

  5. Hello my liebster friend.

I too love the Bill Cunningham and the fact that he was archiving all this fashion long before the Satoralist or anyone of this ilk came along.

    He's authentic:)

  6. Jen... Thanks for sharing. I love "people watching" and fashion is a great part of that passtime! It is so interesting to see the urban vs the rural that I encounter each day! South Georgia fashion can't touch the big city!

  8. How fun! are you sure you aren't just a little bit into fashion? I don't follow it like a hollywood star does, but its fun to look at and every once in a while there's something that a normal human could wear...
