wild roses and Irish music

They aren't Irish, but they are wild roses. I took this picture in Maine. They bloom in abundance on the rocky New England coast. Dark water, grey boulders, green and pink wild roses.

Leaving Boston this morning for the 240 mile drive to the Catskills.

Lovely Irish cottages on Flickr.

Celtic music shows you can listen to any time on a Celtic Sojurn.

And The Pogues:

Enjoy your day.

  1. What a lovely sensibility you have -- isn't there even a song about wild Irish roses? By the way, just stopped by your shop... and to my delight, you have prints by my favorite bird artist, Mincing Mockingbird!! I have several of his fridge magnets and have posted about him, I love his crazy humor!
