Bow Street Flowers

Today I visited Shelley at Bow Street Flowers.

I am in love with the shop.

It has a wonderful cottage secret garden ambiance.

Those are my colors! Note the little pink bunny gate.

Yes, there are bunnies! Who helpfully munch fallen leaves in the work area.

There is a bunny house in the window. And a pink door. Shelley has been talking to Urban Cottage Steve about painting it, but that won't happen if I have anything to say about it. (Which I don't.)

I want to live in this little flower shop.

This is Hortense. She has a story--maybe Shelley will tell you one day.

The name Hortense comes from the Latin root "hortus" meaning garden.
Isn't she beautiful?

  2. This may be the most through post on Bow Street I have had the pleasure to read.

And how beautiful is the front of her shop?

You know how jealous I am that you get to hang out.

But as long as you continue to give us reports I'll get over it.

  3. You dreamer. Nice lop. If I had a rabbit, I'd have a lop.

  4. Hello Jen:
What a fascinating shop with, we think, a most stylish looking exterior. The rabbits really do add a touch of the unusual - but what a good and fun idea.

  6. Didn't you take some great photos?!!! So sweet of you to post them. Heard (oddly just an hour after you left) about another good auction. Anticipation is fun!

  9. Shelley usually posts litle corners of the shop and of course the bunny. It's even prettier than I thought and the entrance is so charming. Thanks for the tour, I don't know how anybody ever leaves there.

  10. I am jealous as well. While we have some nice flower shops, there are none with the charm of this one.
