It was my last weekend working in the store. I feel like I should have something meaningful to say about that, but I don't. Doubts, angst and bittersweetness are in the past.
It was a beautiful weekend--we had a full house, people in and out, cooking, eating, drinking, naps in the hammock, trips to the farmers market, long walks, a party given by a friend I made through the store.
I went wading and worked on my observation skills. I tend to view landscapes/nature in an impressionistic way, and am trying to focus on details.
Pine needles in the water.
Leaves tumbling down stream.
Autumn is coming.
I read a wonderful book--charming, magical, haunting--the kind that stays with you.
(read about it here)
I hope you had a good weekend too!
