greetings of the season

 The tree is up.

Aji helped.

I made cranberry orange (two of my favorite flavors) puffs.
They're somewhere between a cookie and a scone.

This is where I'll be for much of the next week--
the lights are both pretty, mesmerizing, and comforting.
(The cats are camouflaged in the brown blanket on the chair.)

Wherever you are, however you celebrate (or don't), whether you're with family, friends, or solo,
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season.

xo,

Jen

  3. The birds made of string and of china are both very pretty. Your cat is good at being camouflaged.:) You, too, Jen, have a nice week with your family and your cats( they are already your family though).

  5. Hello Jen, That bird made from twine is remarkable cute. And now that you have added those two cats to make the scene cozy, you are ready to relax and enjoy the holiday.

  8. Aji --cute name. What's the other one? You've got a lovely tree, although I would say that ornaments made of twine and looking like birds must be sore temptation for the felines.... lol! Have a wonderful Chritmas!!

  10. A nice Christmassy atmosphere! The tree is so lovely with a twined bird.
It's good your cats got names. Do they have any meanings? Aji seems to be curious about the tree. I hope curiosity won't do any harm on the tree:)
    Merry Christmas!
