yes, you're in the right place

Warning: Work in Progress

I'm trying out some of Bloggers new "dynamic" styles.

First I tried Mosaic--too confusing. Now I'm going back and forth between Magazine and Flipcard.
If you look at the upper left side of the page, you can change the views yourself, temporarily. Classic is closest to the old one. Unfortunately, I have to make the new look go live before I can really test it out. I'll be fooling around with this for a day or two, so please be patient.

Don't worry, it's still me.

  1. Hello Jen:
Totally different. We did look at this new layout ourselves and found it all rather confusing!

    1. These dynamic templates are confusing, but also seductive--I've gone back and forth on them a few times, usually in the wee hours, when only night owls and people in different time zones might see. Fortunately it's not irrevocable...I didn't run off and get a tattoo! Bear with me...

    3. Hello Jen [again]:
Have just come back again and have spent five minutes trying to find this page!!

Interestingly, of all the many blogs we follow, only one has adopted this layout.

  3. Well, I'm not going to keep this one (called Mosaic). It is confusing, and also technically problematic. I may try another one or two before deciding to go back to the original.

  4. Sometimes the original is still the best!

    1. I know--whenever I've tried this before, I've gone back to the original within an hour. Perhaps subconsciously this is a response to closing the store...

  5. Ok. You've sparked my interest. I didn't even know dynamic templates existed. Ah well. I'll be trying them on probably this weekend.
btw, I like this one, mostly because of all the white space but I don't like being able to change views as a reader. However, I should spend more time on it. First impressions are often deceiving.

  6. I like the way you can see so many past posts and how inviting they look. It would be a nice way to get to know a blog (someone you haven't followed for a long time). You don't have to change views (as a reader) but it's an option. You should play around with it--it's fun.

  7. I was confused at first but quickly figured it out. It is beautiful. I was afraid you were gone when I first saw it. I am glad you are here and having fun with your blog.

  8. I saw many of your collective pictures the other day, and I understood your feeling that you recollect each moment you experienced regarding to your store. It's lovely and meaningful, I thought.
