The most striking thing about New Mexico is the constantly changing landscape. Pink mesas. Deep gorges. Gray buttes. Alpine meadows. Snow-capped mountains. White sands. Massive cottonwood trees whose yellow leaves glow as if lit within. No wonder
Georgia O'Keeffe was so inspired.
Above pictures from the extraordinary Taos Pueblo. You can read about it about it

Incredible looks! The first picture looks very virtual! I will now read about Taos Pueblo and learn something new! Thanks for that! Christa
ReplyDeleteThat pueblo is amazing. The blue doors seem to mirror the sky.
ReplyDeleteI imagined the settlement of folk from Mexico seeing the significant building. I came to know one more new aspect of the US. Thank you, Jen. And have a nice travel.
ReplyDeleteTaos is one of the few NM places I've yet to visit. I always figure it will cost too much. Beautiful photos Jen.
