That's my life these days.

I started this blog when I had a store in the Catskill region of upstate New York called Country Weekend. I closed the store, but the blog continues. I've met many wonderful people here and made friends around the world.

Aji and the Flowers

We have a weekend house in the Catskills, and otherwise live in Massachusetts, near Boston. We is me; my husband, Bob; Aji, Masa, and Brooklyn, the cats; and my three young adult sons (one or two of whom may be living with us when you read this). Before books, cats, etc. took over my life I worked as a public interest lawyer.
